Mrs. Christina Grun originally hails from Germany, and began her tenure at St. Ann’s in 2010 as art teacher. She earned a degree in art and fashion design in Frankfurt, Germany, before relocating to the United States and working for eight years in private education in Naples and earning certification in art education. Christina is a practicing artist who displays her work in various shows and galleries, including her own Gallery 152, and she is a member of FAEA, the Florida Art Association. At St. Ann, she organized projects for Hope for Haiti and Peace Umbrellas in the Park and art shows for students.

Mrs. Marjorie Huelsman began her musical experiences at St Ann School in 1999 as general music, choir, and band director. Mrs. Huelsman graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Mansfield University in PA. She taught in Cape Cod and Nantucket areas of MA for 11 years where she was a member of the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, the College Light Opera Company, and conducted the Nantucket Community Band. She won two Best Musical Director awards from the Cape and Islands Community Theater Association. Under her tutelage, the St. Ann Advanced Band has been featured at the Walt Disney World Magic Music Days festival and has received numerous Superior Ratings, and Grand Champion, 1st and 2nd place trophies at the Music USA Festival in Universal Studios. Mrs. Huelsman is a member of the Florida Music Educators Association, the Choristers Guild, and is certified in ORFF Level 1 as well as Music K-12 in Florida.

Mrs. Sue McKenzie has been teaching at Saint Ann School for 17 years. She has a B.S. from Western Michigan University and has a Florida Teacher Certification. She also has a Director Credential and is certified to teach the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program (VPK). Mrs. Mckenzie is the current Technology Instructor, Media Center Specialist, 6th grade Religion Teacher, and FLVS counselor.

Mrs. Audrey Swanton was born in Castine, Maine, and has spent most of her life there before moving to Florida. She attended the University of Maine where she received a B.A. in French, and a M.A.T. in the teaching of French and Spanish. She also attended the Université de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France with the Junior Year Abroad program, and has traveled in Spain and Mexico. Before coming to St. Ann, she taught Spanish and French for twenty years at John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor, Maine, where she served as Department Chair of Modern and Classical Languages the last four years of her career there. She has an extensive background in theatre both as an actor and as a director in professional and local productions, and has directed shows in both middle and high school. Mrs. Swanton is also our drama coach.

Mr. Andrew Chu is the Technology Coordinator/IT Director for Saint Ann Catholic School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Management majoring in EDP. He has more than 20 plus years of computer support experience. He teaches the 2nd year confirmation class.
