Education of Spirit, Mind, and Body

Saint Ann School’s music curriculum encourages students of all ages to learn about their faith, the world around them, and their own unique God-given talents for music.

Elementary students explore music by developing their singing voices and playing a wide range of instruments including: recorders, percussion, and Orff instruments (xylophones and glockenspiels). They also learn music concepts through movement and music reading activities. The upper elementary students enjoy showcasing their talents at the annual Christmas Program and Spring Concert.

Many students combine their musical knowledge and love of music by participating in our performing ensembles. The Saint Ann Choir sings their faith by leading the music at school and parish Masses. The middle grade students learn and develop their playing and performing skills throughout their middle school years. The Saint Ann Advanced Band regularly performs for concerts and school assemblies. They have also been chosen to be featured performers at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
