Education of Spirit, Mind, and Body

Saint Ann School’s social studies curriculum equips our students with the skills needed to become well informed, responsible, and contributing members of our global society. Our integrated curriculum allows our students to understand and appreciate various cultures in real-world contexts. By studying history, geography, government, politics, economics, social science, and culture our students learn to develop their own point of view while studying world events from a global perspective.

Our students are nurtured and encouraged to live productive and fulfilling lives as participatory members of their local, national, and global communities. Through their study, they learn to demonstrate knowledge of the various racial/ ethnic groups and their contributions to society. They learn to value human life, seek justice, pursue peace, and care for God’s creation. A focus on the appreciation of the past, an understanding of the present, and a commitment to building a better future for all is stressed throughout our social studies curriculum.
