MRS. KAREN PATERNO
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Mrs. Paterno dedicated over 30 years to St. Ann School as a Middle School Math teacher. In addition to teaching, she served as the Scholar Bowl Coach, National Junior Honor Society sponsor, and contributed to several accreditation teams. During this time, she also taught at Florida Southwest College (formerly Edison Community College). She earned both her BA degree in Math Education and MA degree in the Teaching of Mathematics from the University of Kentucky.
Â
After retiring from St. Ann in 2015, Mrs. Paterno devoted many volunteer hours to the Harry Chapin Food Bank, Champions For Learning (Education Foundation), and St. Ann!!
Â
She enjoys her morning workouts, traveling, and spending time with her husband of 50 years and her adult daughters (both St. Ann alumni). She also loves seeing and following the successes of all the wonderful students she was blessed to teach at St. Ann School.Â
Â
Now, she is thrilled to return to St. Ann in a new role and is excited to once again collaborate with its wonderful staff and administrators.
